Applying Your Sunless Tan |

| NOTE: To minimize risk of slipping, stand on a towel or other textured
surface while using the sunless tan wand and sunless tanner. |

Exfoliate before you tan. Do not use moisturizer before you tan. It acts as a barrier to your tan. |

| 2.) |
There is no particular sequence to application; choose whatever is comfortable for you. Do not worry about runs. |
| |

| 3.) |
Moisturize your arms and legs IMMEDIATELY AFTER you tan. Rub a medium to thick consistency moisturizer in well. If there are any lines of moisturize left, the tanning solution will pool in that area causing a streak. It can be difficult to achieve a consistent tan over the bony, curved portions of the elbows, wrists, knees, ankles and feet. Moisturizing smoothes out any mishaps and leaves a fabulously even tan! Remember to wash your palms with soap afterward or wear gloves. |

There is NO NEED to moisturize the front or back of your torso or your face. Moisturize your arms and legs only.
Spray your hands and feet lightly by pulling the spray tanner wand farther away. Non-comedogenic - safe to use on your face. |

We are currently developing a moisturizer that will have the optimal balance of ingredients that compliment the development of your tan. Until then, the following information should be used in choosing the moisturizer you use. |

There are a number of known ingredients that are incompatible with, and not recommended for use in, solutions containing DHA and Erythrulose. Try to avoid any chemical compounds containing an amino group (such as amino acids, alpha hydroxy acids, proteins, collagen, urea derivatives and etc.), certain “acrylic thickeners” (like carbomer), certain UV filters (like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide), certain preservatives and any other nitrogen-containing molecules. All of the above materials can induce a less than desirable color during development. |

We recommend the following moisturizers: Neutrogena Soothing Wrap Body Lotion (Flip Top Tube or Pump Container), "Angel" by Designer Skin (Large Yellow plastic container with pump), Bath & Body Works - Pleasures Coconut Lime Verbena Body Lotion, 8 Fl. Oz and Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion (in a flip top tube). These moisturizers work well with SheerTan and will not interfere with the development of the tan. |
